Sag rods carry the lateral load of roof and wall sheeting, keeping purlins straight and preventing sag, twist and deflection between main frames during erection and in service.
Threaded steel rods installed between purlins and girts, sag rods run perpendicular to the purlin line — tying members together and transferring load up to the rafter or eave, keeping everything aligned. Z sag rods are bent to pass neatly through the purlin web, making installation fast and the connection clean in Z and C purlin systems.
Each sag rod is produced to your purlin spacing with the correct diameter, thread and length — in mild steel, galvanised or stainless finish. Available in single lengths up to 12 metres on request, with Mill Test Certificates and reliable PAN India delivery.
